Hello Tenants, Owners, and Customer/Clients
We at Bear Creek Real Estate and Property Management want to take a moment to let you know that we are closely monitoring the developments of the COVID-19 virus in and around Yavapai County.
As we navigate through this rapidly changing situation, we will continue to take the necessary steps in order to minimize the spread of the virus while focusing on health, safety and prevention. The health and well-being of our employees, residents, and our customers and will always be the top priority for us.
Our employees are practicing all of the best safety and hygiene practices from the:
CDC (Centers for Disease Control) https://www.cdc.gov/
and WHO (World Health Organization) https://www.who.int/
These government agencies share the importance of social distancing, sanitizing, disinfecting, not shaking hands, and protecting the elderly and those that are immune compromised. Bear Creek Real Estate and Property Management is adhering to all of these procedures daily.
In the past few weeks, as the number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 has risen across the United States. Yavapai County has been inundated with messages about how to stay safe and prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Our advice to you is to wash your hands frequently (nay, constantly); don’t touch your face; don’t shake hands; practice social distancing; and above all, stay home if you’re able, whether or not you’re feeling sick.
The Arizona Department of Health Services has provided a list of precautionary measures that property owners and managers should take to keep their buildings (and residents) safe. https://www.azdhs.gov
The advice is fairly common-sense, and in line with the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines: https://www.cdc.gov/
ADHS (Arizona Department of Health Services) recommends that “extra effort” be expended to keep buildings clean, with regular disinfecting of frequently touched areas (such as light switches, door handles, and elevator buttons), as well as providing hand sanitizer or soap and water in high-traffic areas, like laundry rooms or bathrooms.
Are you wondering which cleaning agents you should use at home right now? The American Chemistry Council has a list of products that are shown to be effective in combating the spread of COVID-19.

This "stay safe” advise is advise that many Property Managers seem to be taking to heart.
The majority of Property Managers across the nation have noted that they are following the city’s and CDC’s recommendations: regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces, providing hand sanitizer for employees, and increasing the frequency of cleanings within buildings.
As the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 have risen and may continue to rise, we at Bear Creek Real Estate and Property Management are taking more drastic measures. We have cancelled all tenant activities and while our office will remain open to online communications and by appointments only, we are locking our doors to the public and asking that all appointments be scheduled online through our email system at repairs@bearcreekpmg.com or called into our office at 928-420-4562 or 928-227-0501. We are hoping that we do not have to limit employees in order to effectively utilize our resources.
Also, all amenities within subdivision areas are open at this time, but that it has been recommended that anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19 avoid these common areas, including fitness centers and clubhouses. We also ask our residents to help keep highly trafficked areas safe by cleaning surfaces after they’ve been used.
For our residents residing in Granville, Stoneridge, Prescott Lakes, Quailwood and Pronghorn; we have been told that the clubhouse facilities will close... “all amenity spaces throughout all buildings, including pools, lounges, fitness centers, and common areas are to close." According to the email, this was done to both encourage social distancing and give its building staff more time to keep other common areas (lobbies, for example) clean.
Enhanced cleaning protocols are especially crucial for our residents who reside in our larger complexes. Residents already deal with quality of life issues—laundry room breakdowns, heating outages, parking issues, etc. To add the COVID-19 concerns to this list may be daunting. We want you to know that we understand your concerns.
As we have heard repeatedly through the media and other social networking sites, our seniors and immune compromised population are the most fragile to COVID-19. Please make sure to be conscientious of our elderly population while using common areas.
One of the best things you can do right now is to get in touch with your neighbors (via email, notes left on doors, or the telephone) to see if they are okay or if they are in need of supplies that you can help them with. Remember to keep social distancing where required.
